The British Society of Paediatric Dentists Annual Scientific Meeting

The British Society of Paediatric Dentists Annual Scientific Meeting is to be held at The Lowry, Salford Quays, Manchester on the 19th – 22nd September 2017.

The President Elect, Claire Stevens, is a past recipient of the Clinical Case Prize, which R A Medical Services have supported for the past 13 years and will once again in 2017. Janet and Chris Pickles look forward to once again participating in this well attended meeting, with a small but comprehensive display, but also anticipating the Angel of the North Quiz and the gala dinner at Imperial North; work and play melding into yet another interesting and educational occasion. The BSPD website explains this origins of this years logo:

Our 2017 logo incorporates a bee which is a nod to our city’s industrious past. Indeed, the bee is also incorporated into Manchester’s coat of arms, our University crest, the floor of our Town Hall and even on our rubbish bins! The honey bee is also a perfect example of a society which works collaboratively to achieve a collective goal, and we hope that this, along with our Conference theme of “Creative Collaboration” describes our day to day working too. Manchester is certainly a hive of activity as we pull together to deliver what we hope will be a Conference to remember.
