The Silhouette 2 is a non-coaxial (separate fresh gas and vacuum tubes) breathing system that uses 22mm standard fittings throughout, making it compatible with a wide range of flowmeter systems. The kit includes colour-coded sizer masks in four sizes (paediatric, adult small, medium, and large) to ensure a proper fit for all patients. The system uses a different scavenging approach to the Porter Brown coaxial system, with separate fresh gas and vacuum lines.
