Janet and Chris Pickles attended a Gala Reception at the Terrace Pavilion, Houses of Parliament last Thursday evening – 31st
October. This was to celebrate the inclusion of R A Medical Services in
this year’s Parliamentary Review – a recognition of the Company’s hard
work in recent years. Speakers included Sir Geoff Hurst who gave a
very entertaining talk about his footballing career and Lord Blunkett.

Eric Pickles opened the evening and thanked all the contributors for
their hard work. Lord Pickles was quick to spot a fellow Yorkshireman –
with a name like Pickles it was obvious, but he was taken aback to find
we also came from Keighley – his home town.
