R A Medical Services recently attended the BSPD 2016 Conference held in the Rose Bowl Centre

R A Medical Services recently attended the BSPD 2016 Conference held in the Rose Bowl Centre, Leeds Becket University.

On the Thursday evening as part of the social programme, a black tie dinner was held at Aspire, attended by 240 members and the guest of honour, Chief Dental Officer for England, Professor Sarah Hurley.

During the evening, various prizes were awarded, including the Clinical Case Prize, won this year by a local girl – Sophie Hughes from Leeds Dental Institute with a presentation entitled: C2 Management of multiple dental anomalies in a patient with congenital heart disease.

This is the 14th year that R A Medical have sponsored both the BSPD Conference and the Clinical Case Prize.  The evening was a resounding success with Stephen Fayle, a Paediatric Consultant from Leeds, giving one of his famous magic shows, greatly enjoyed by all.  The Conference concluded on the Friday morning with a keynote speech by Sarah Hurley on the future of dentistry within the NHS – A 5 year forward view.
